What I don't understand is why people think it is cheap? It won't be cheap unless you think being stuck on a 24 month contract is good and having to pay $200 for the privilege? Anyway me and Gav will be lining up on the 11th like all the other suckers.

Good write up little Raj Man.

mms - the rest of the world doesnt use it. I dont think that Japan or Korea even ever had it. Its a wasted feature that costs too much to use.

It is all about email.

Well Rajie-boy, nice write up (despite the spelling mistakes, but I'll let those slip), I just saw what I thought are little inconsistencies with your post.

First of all, you didn't mention anything about price, which for many people was basically the deal make-or-break on the iPhone. All those features are completely awesome, but if it costs a bajillion dollars, people would think twice about buying it. Now with the subsidised pricing, heaps more people are going to consider it. Definitely an iPod-esque marketing ploy right there.

Secondly, you say that Apple's use of white to distinguish consumer from professional sounds on-par, but then say that this idea is also reflected with the iPhone (white more expensive, black less so). This is the reverse of what you said about consumer and professional models.

Also, for the MMS-haters out there, MMS is great when you want to send a picture of something when you're on the road, to someone who is also on the road and isn't near a computer to check their emails (or don't have an iPhone or RIM). It sucks for me the lack of MMS, as I love it and use it often, but surely this is a software issue and maybe it might come in a later software update release.

All I'm waiting for now are what plans the iPhone will be on, and make my decision from there.

I'm going to agree with Mark on this one. As a BlackBerry user there is no need for MMS if you can e-mail.

Good write up Raj and bring on July 11! Woo!

@Mark Come on fat boy you love your MMS :P They only reason anyone wants it is because the data rates are so freaking high at the moment outside of the US. Give us a good data plan and I wont bitch.
